Promoting democracy, women's rights, and democratic values is at the heart of the SE Hillsborough County Democratic Women's Club, which strive to empower women and uphold democratic ideals.

Established in 2016 and governed by the State Democratic Women's Club of Florida, our mission is to promote and support local and State Democratic candidates. As one of more than 60 Democratic Women's Clubs in Florida, the Southeast Hillsborough County Democratic Women's Club are a powerful group of women committed to advancing the goals of the Hillsborough County Democrats, as well as State & national Democrats.

Voter Registration & Engagement
Your voice is powerful, and your voice is your vote. Our volunteers make great efforts to get voters registered and engaged. We participate in tabling events, phone banks, postcard writing and canvassing.
Please remember, if you vote by mail, there has been a change to the law. ALL VOTE BY MAIL BALLOTS MUST BE REQUESTED EVERY GENERAL ELECTION CYCLE. Request your ballot today on-line or by phone at 813-744-5900.
United by a Common Goal
Democracy is under attack in this country. It is imperative that we do all that we can to get Democrats elected to public office. Come and join a group of like-minded women! Our club is growing every day.
Community & Youth Empowerment
We believe that education is the cornerstone of a thriving society. To that end, it is our aim to offer scholarships to local students. We award a scholarship every year to honor the memory of club member Sandra Morehouse who embodied service to her community.
ART EXPO FUNDRAISER
In honor of our past member and friend, the late Sandra Moorehouse, the Democratic Women’s Club of SE Hillsborough is holding an Art Expo scholarship fundraiser. Sandra, being an artist herself, would be honored to highlight the artistic abilities of our community members. We invite you to attend this event, as the money raised will support our club's scholarship fund.
This one-day event will showcase the talent of several artists in our community. There is a $20 admission donation. There will be light appetizers, drinks, and raffles. Won’t you join us for this special event?

COME TO A MEETING
Members and guests that come to meetings learn about important issues, listen to guest speakers, engage with candidates and elected officials. We meet on the first Thursday of every month at the Bloomingdale Public Library . There is a meet & greet at 6pm before the meeting, which begins at 6:30pm.
BECOME A MEMBER
Membership is only $28 per year. As a member, you are able to vote on our club bylaws, attend DWCF (Democratic Women's Club of Florida) conventions and events, and become officers and board members.

Our unique T-shirts have the image of Ruth Bader Ginsberg's famous white collar on the front (which is our logo) with our mantra, NEVERTHELESS, SHE PERSISTED and our club's name on the back. $30 each.
